Trekatecture is a multi-disciplinary design firm with our primary focus on Architecture. Leading us is our founder and lead designer Andrew Kaplan. He is a licensed architect with over a decade of experience designing residential homes throughout the New York City and Long Island area. Holding licenses in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Andrew can service most of the Tri-State area. As a born and raised New Yorker Andrew understands the fabric of his hometown and how to best service his clientele.

Andrew’s philosophy to Architecture and design is to create practical, cost efficient designs that are functional and friendly while also developing dynamic beautiful atheistic that work with the natural or urban fabric of the community. Understanding that everyone has a different wish list, Andrew is able create unique designs that stand out from the typical “contractor specials.”

With his knowledge of construction coming from both experience and two generations of family in the building industry he is able to consider all elements of a project beyond just space planning. Having the ability to understand and use architecture to work along with elements such as structural, plumbing and electrical trades allows our projects to stand out among the other firms. With that eye for detail and a passion for his trade, Andrew loves a challenge and remains driven to provide the best project possible.

Beyond the architectural world, Andrew uses his talents to design, develop and produce artwork, furniture, sculpture work and jewelry. Transferring the same skills to develop homes, he has created wonderful wood and acrylic models full of rich detail and depth. He has even dabbled in being a not yet best-selling internationally selling author.

With Andrew in the captain’s chair, the vision of Trekatecture is to leave a positive mark on the world through our craft, enhancing lives with thoughtful and inspiring designs.
